Hunting

Different hunting activities take place in various designated hunting areas. The specific location will be determined based on the species targeted and pre-scouting results. The average altitude is around 3,000 feet, and the terrain consists mainly of rolling hills. In the early mornings or late evenings, we drive and use spotting scopes to locate the best game. Once a target is identified, the team stalks on foot to approach it, with typical shooting distances averaging around 300 yards.

The entire hunting trip lasts 5-10 days. Accommodations are provided in traditional Mongolian gers, and meals are prepared by top chefs from the city, with bottled water readily available. The team includes experienced guides, interpreters, assistants, and drivers operating hunting off-road vehicles.

These hunts are organized annually from July 1st to October 1st.

Land Prices Include:

Altay Argali Hunting Program

Altay argali hunts are organized at western Mongolia in the Altay mountain ranges, average altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, average Altay argali rams are measuring horns with 55” in length with 20” bases, 5 days are usually needed to complete this hunt. A camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within July 1st – October 1st, every year.

  • Hunt duration: usually 5 days, will be extended to 10 days if needed
  • Shot ranges: shots are 300 – 600 yards
  • Average altitude: 6500 feet

Hangay Argali Hunting Program

Hangay argali hunts take place at one of our 4 different hunting areas, will be decided where to hunt depending on pre scouting results, average altitude of 4000 feet above sea level, terrains are mostly rolling hills, drive and glass in mornings or late evenings to locate best rams, once located, stalk on foot, shots are usually 300 yards, average Hangay argali rams are measuring horns with 48”-52” in length with 18” bases, 5 days hunt at the most, camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within July 1st – October 1st, every year.

  • Hunt duration: usually 5 days, will be extended to 7 days if needed
  • Shot ranges: shots are 300 yards
  • Average altitude: 4000 feet

Gobi Argali Hunting Program

Gobi argali hunts are conducted at one of our 2 different hunting areas, will be decided where to hunt depending on pre scouting results, altitude is about 3000 feet above sea level, terrain is small gobi hills, drive and glass in mornings or late evenings to find best rams, once located stalk on foot to shoot at usually 300 yards away, average Gobi argali rams are measuring horns with 45”-50” in length with 17” bases, 5 days hunt at the most, camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within July 1st – October 1st, every year.

Altay Ibex Hunting Program

Altay ibex hunts are conducted at western Mongolia, 5 days hunt, higher altitude of 8000 feet above sea level, demands good physical fitness, rocky mountains, average billies measuring 38”-42” horns, needs to shoot longer distances of 300-600 yards, camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within July 15th – October 15th, every year.

  • Shot ranges: shots are 300-600 yards
  • Average altitude: 8000 feet

Gobi Ibex Hunting Program

Gobi ibexes are 35”-40” in horn length on average and hunted at the same regions of Altay ibexes, but to the lower Gobi desert hills between the higher Altay mountain ranges. Hunts are available between July 15th- October 15th, every year. Combination ibexes hunts are available.

  • Average altitude: 3000 feet

Maral Stag Hunting Program

Maral stags are hunted at Central Mongolian rolling hills with few bushes, 4 hours drive from the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, terrain is rocky hills and open country, altitude of 3500 feet above sea level, usually 6×6 points bulls with heavy antlers, drive and glass to find preferred bull, stalk on foot to shoot at 300 yards, its 3-day hunt, camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within August 20th – October 1st, every year.
